To strengthen its child centered community development approach Plan Indonesia is looking for dynamic Indonesian nationals to fill the positions of: Communications Manager – Based in Jakarta

The Communications Manager will establish and roll out Plan Indonesia’s communications strategy. He/she will head up a small team responsible for publications, media relations, branding, image building, website management, public relations and development education. The Communications Manager will be a senior manager and an integral part of the Country Management Team reporting to the Country Director.

Requirements:
· Degree in mass communications, journalism or related discipline.
· At least five years experience with successful track record in communications, media relations or journalism including supervisory/managerial responsibilities.
· Computer literate.
· Excellent communicator, team builder and negotiator.
· Experience in NGOs will be an advantage.
· Strong English skill. All applications will be treated in confidence.
